THE CHOSEN – SEASON FIVE
The Chosen is a biblically centered video series that creates an authentic and intimate picture of Jesus’ life and ministry, seen through the eyes of those who knew him – the disciples. The series has been praised for its historical and biblical accuracy.
No matter where you are in your journey with Jesus Christ, this show will challenge you to come to know, love and follow Him more fully.
This fifth season, which we are watching this fall, is a little different from the last four. We begin each episode in the Upper Room with a scene from the Last Supper. It is a more somber season as we walk with Jesus and his disciples through the last five days of Jesus’ life and through the disciples growing awareness of what is ahead for Jesus and for them. It is, as always, an opportunity for us to encounter Jesus and to connect his life and experiences and teaching with our lives and our own discipleship.
Small group discussion will be part of our gathering. Study guides with scripture connections are available at each session.
