Dear Parishioners of St. Alphonsus,
We have received word from the Diocese of London that St. Alphonsus Church is a beneficiary of the estate of our former Pastor, Fr. Francis La Prairie. The Parish will receive approximately $200,000 from the Estate. Our aim will be to put this money towards completing the plaster and painting work in the church.
We are grateful to Fr. Francis for leaving our Parish such a generous gift in his will. Planned gifts such as these help the Parish to continue to serve the People of God, and can aid in completing projects in the church building which might not otherwise be possible.
