What is Adult Faith Formation

Adult Faith Formation is the lifelong process of finding and falling in love with God in the midst of our human lives. Every one of us, by virtue of our Baptism, is on a life-long journey of faith. At its root, the faith formation of the mature adult Catholic Christian is a collaborative undertaking between the person and the Holy Spirit of God. Consequently, Adult Faith Formation has as its purpose to support, nourish, and challenge adults as they explore their faith, experience its power, grow in relationship with God and seek to live more fully as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Among the immediate fruits of faith formation is active and meaningful participation in the work of the Church: in the proclamation of the Word of God and in building the community of faith where the faithful pray together and serve one another and the world, all in God’s name.

On this page you will find resources to help you grow in your faith. There will be permanent resources and new ones available every month. This is a long – term project, so resources will slowly be added and new areas added on along the way. Resources connected to a particular event, season or feast will be deleted after several weeks on the site.
