Greetings and blessings on this Solemnity of the Assumption! I pray that Our Lady fill each of you with blessings and joy as we celebrate her entry into what we all hope to obtain, our full presence with God for all times.
I feel like it has been far too long since I’ve communicated with you in our family of parishes. I have been trying to follow “the doctor’s orders” and truly be away from the parish. Even so, please know that you have been in my prayer.
After speaking with my doctor, I have decided to return to Windsor and our Family of Parishes at the end of August. I am looking forward to being home again, and to seeing so many of you and worshiping with you. I will be gradually taking on duties, learning what I can (and what I cannot) do.
Again, I assure you of my continued prayer. May Our Lady of the Assumption on her Feast Day, as well as Saints Alphonsus, Angela Merici, Benedict, and Daniel Comboni intercede for us all.
