Work started on September 7th addressing the painting work that was left uncompleted after the plaster was repaired several years ago.
The painters have told us to expect scaffolding in the church for the next six weeks. There will be some minor disruptions during this time, but they should be minimal.
We are able to complete this work thanks to a bequest made to the Church from the estate of the late Fr. Francis LaPrarie, a former pastor of St. Alphonsus Church. We remember Fr. Francis in our prayers, and we thank him for his generosity as we undertake this work.
