SYNOD LISTENING SESSIONS REPORT

Our synod listening sessions are over and the report for the Windsor Heritage Catholic Family of Parishes is available for everyone to read. Over 200 people participated in the sessions and shared their experiences of the church and their hopes and dreams for our family of parishes. Ten themes have emerged from what was shared . These themes will be used in the development of the pastoral plan for our family of parishes and will help us build up our communities. We experienced what it means to be a synodal church – the walking together of all the baptized to listen to one another and to the Holy Spirit so as to discern the will of God for how we are to accomplish the mission of the church. The listening sessions may be over but we continue to walk in “this new way of being church” and will continue to discern where God is leading us.
